PART 1: The History of Me
Were you a planned baby? Perhaps. My brother wasn't, I think. My parents must've learned by then since I'm already their third.
Were you the first? I just implied no.
Were your parents married when you were born? Already, yes.
What is your birth date? 11 May 1988. I don't hate my birthday. I don't feel like I was born too early; it is only my classmates who did not take an extra year in preparatory/elementary to have been younger. What is important is I'm still alive today.

PART 2: THE FAMILY
Parents married or divorced? Married. Woohoo!
Are you an only child? No. Would you want that?
If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest? It's termed "eldest" (har har, I am mayabang), and I am youngest.
Which parent do you get along with best? Mummy.
Do you have step-parents? Maids who had taken care of me as a youngster don't count, no? I do not.

PART 3: THE FRIENDS
Do you have more than one best friend? I don't have any best friends.
What do you like to do when you are together? Stare at each other.
Do you share the same interests? If I did have any, probably, but they shouldn't matter too much.
Which friend can you tell everything to? Har har, Lara Claveria accepts anything random!

PART 4: YOUR PERSONALITY
Do you have low self-esteem? Eh, it depends on which field.
Do you get depressed about things easily? Easily? Again, it depends on which topic and its general social relevance/severity.
Are you happy right now? Kind of. Auds-chan believes I'd make a good admin at AD'I! *hugs Auds*

PART 5: APPEARANCE
Are you comfortable with the way you look? Yes. It's not like I can see myself everywhere else I go to. If I do look messed up, then screw it!
Describe your hair: Referred to mockingly as a wig during my Elementary school years, it is a flowy helmet of royalty that (in my dreams) stuns onlookers with its commanding presence and successfully frames my face into doll-like proportions.
How do you dress? If I know/think I won't get scolded for the day, I brush up onto my elder sister's accessories to shine, be admired, look almost like a goddess (and maybe hopefully, finally, a stranger might give me flowers on Valentine's Day!). For most of the time that I regretfully do little school work, I tend to wear unnoticable shirts (eww) and the usual jeans and rubber shoes to accentuate my lowliness.
Were you a strange child? Oh my God, what do you think?

PART 6: RANDOM
Are you scared of growing up old and alone? I am, I am. I don't think about it, but billowing away to a rest house with no one to remember me is sad indeed.
What are you wearing? Right now? The same as yesterday night, booyah! Comfortable home shirt (again, ugh!) and shorts.
Own any pets? No, not at all. I feel I'd just promote any animal's misery by keeping them trapped in between the four walls of our unspeaking house without a chance to let it live for its own.
Have your license? Nah. I'll learn to drive some other time.
Ever been in trouble with the law? In school, yes. In society, not yet. What evil might I exemplify?
Ever been thrown out of a bar? Yet I have done nothing that younger people could imitate me for. (I have--irresponsibility in academics, promising things I can't do--but ssh.) First time I had gone to one, I drank myself a warm cuppa milk. Seriously, cow's milk; I didn't want to get even tipsy as I was to be fetched that night.

PART 7: THE OUTDOORS
Do you prefer indoors or outdoors? Outdoors, mostly. I had billowed my childhood away from my video game addiction and would rather not do so for the rest of my life.
Favorite season? I have only the sunny and the rainy season to choose from. I would like to experience some friendly ecologically-challenged hail.
Do you like walking in the rain? Yes. I haven't the opportunity for my maintainance of a dry image seems to weigh more. Someday, *sings* soooomeday.
Do you like thunderstorms? Yes! The high energy. They make me feel alive. I like them the most when urban blackouts strike. I enjoyed the Milenyo disaster last year, when we had to use candles for restroom moments and unheated canned food for dinner. There were no appliances to preoccupy ourselves with so we were among each other. It was nice.
Ever done anything strange outdoors? Used the disastrous Portalet. One could clearly see the floating bodily wastes underneath, intact.
Ever peed outside? As a child, yes. Perhaps in the provinces too; I can't remember.

PART 8: FOOD
Are you a vegetarian? Oh my God, yes.
Anything you absolutely could eat forever? Oh my God, spaghetti.
Favorite food? Oh my God, Italian.
What is your favorite dessert? Oh my God, nada. You know these questions stir appetizing manifestations of eatables in my brain cells. Yes, I don't have a particular craving when it comes to sweets; anything with sugar and endorphines in it is a gooda.

PART 9: RELATIONSHIPS AND LOVE
Do you believe in love at first sight? I want to, I think I have experienced so, but through splicing and dicing it, it appears I have only placed her onto an impossible ideal. I now believe in love as learned, as parents do with their children.
Do you want to get married? I fear eternal promises. There is always the live-in alternative. =D
Single or taken? Snagged. :3 Hee hee hee.
Love or Lust? Rather the love, but neither would I last without the latter.
Have you ever wanted to spend forever with someone?
Longest relationship? Two years and four months up to present.
Shortest relationship? One with someone I can't even bear to speak of. No offical break-up, but our situation wasn't official as well nor was it in any way understandable. It was gross.
Currently in love with someone? My boyfriend. OoOoOoOh. I try, try to keep my halo.

Since there a lot of full albums here on Multiply, I think I can show my appreciation by uploading some of mine. I haven't seen worship songs anywhere, so here are some.

Thank you for your interest in my home-made Fookien audio lessons. These were made with beginners in mind. Originally, they were made for my boyfriend. My dream is to hear him speak fluent Chinese that would impress not only my parents, where they may finally allow our relationship/marriage, but would awe the rest of the Chinese community as well. And we'd both be proud, followed by a typical happily-ever-after.

BUT! One day, he'd rather have me teach him personally. So, my recording went on a hiatus.

Now, I share these to thee, my beloved Visitors. I may not know you all, but I hope I am making a positive contribution. As my motto goes, "Help people! Create eye candy! Promote Fookien!" I still do want to continue recording, and I need a reason! And the reason is youuuu.

Will you be my student? I plead you with my knees on the floor and my heart balancing on a tightrope. Are you willing to be taught as much as I am willing to share what I know? The power of deciding is yours.

These are spoken with Taglish, by the way. It's a hybrid between hometown Tagalog and American English; it never fails to amuse me, and never ceases to be used by today's youth.

Sigh. It’ll be another day tomorrow.

 

I still can’t forget you, you know? Sometimes I try to, but they end up as failed attempts. I want you so much. You’re the only one I actually want, come to think of it. I can give away my being in my Dream University if we were to be together. I keep… remembering these things. They just come, these memories. Just watching you pass by would always make my day worthwhile; fact is, you were my incentive for my staying in that crazy high school.

 

What was I thinking? I thought I had a chance with you. I thought you’d… maybe like me too, you know? We do have a lot of common ground. There are so many things I wish, like how things might’ve been better if we were to stay in our former school, stay as friends there (and actually talking to you, which would be a big thing for me as is), or in another school that’s better (where we may learn a whole lot more, and still keep this drama).

 

And I wanted to be more than friends with you. I know that. It’s just your avoidance of me that makes me want to settle for less. You were different. You obviously were on top of your league -- not just physically, not just intellectually, but through the richness of personal experiences, perhaps? I don’t know; stupid of me to reason out as just “feeling” it.

 

I just thought we could understand each other better than anyone else can.

 

Yes, I do know very little about you, but I try to know as much as I can. I couldn’t approach you; I was afraid. You had this power over me. Your glare alone could make me your most faithful servant. I just had to have as much of you as I could, and all I had were the fewest of people carrying bits of trivia. Your birthday, little things you’ve done, everything! Even conversations with your best friend whom I’ll be envious of for the rest of my life to have someone like you, to know more about you.

 

I wish you never knew I liked you; maybe then things could’ve grown better. Now I have to suffer every bit of the consequence. You were so near, yet so far.

 

Oh, those memories. Have you known how important to me our numbered conversations were? Those were the sweetest times. Missing our former school together, enough to push us to attend its school fair, remember? What do I care now about the batch mates I had there, pffvt. They were generic people. What pushes you back there; do you also love the way our grade six teachers care for us so much? It was cold in our new high school, and the adults seemed to have no souls.

 

You were a link to my past. (Sounds like a Zelda game.) You were like a lit candle to me in a foreign land. You were my comfort zone, and a reminder of a sane place. How did you feel? I’ve always thought you felt the same way to the past. I wanted to be your shelter too. I wanted to alleviate the darkness of the new land, to stay as your guidepost, to also try and serve as your lamp. No matter how dim my light may be, I wanted to try, at least still keep you warm, and acknowledge that you are not alone.

 

I was afraid of this. Never in the world did I want you to ignore me. Now you seem oblivious of me. I was afraid to approach you, but how I wanted so. And it hurts. It just does.

 

Maybe this was all an optimistic fantasy.

 

Sigh. It’ll be another day tomorrow, another pointless day.
